Description

Welcome to this collection of “easier listening bluegrass” songs

“Banjo Man” did come from a real life experience of building and living in a log cabin for six years without the luxury of electricity.

Yes, the song “Old Pete Down” is crediting Pete Seeger for his effors on environmental issues and his lifetime of using his banjo for the greater good.

The singalong “Idaho Spud” is almost a true story.

“Moose In The Pond has a bit of dreamers truth to it.  Did you ever get close enough to hear a moose hisssssss? I have, but I couldn’t get the saddle on.

The symbolic song “Paul’s Song” is about the Apostle Paul who wrote the Book of Romans in the New Testament.

“Bacon Grease is a backporch song dedicated to all who love the flavor of bacon….you know who you are.

Flatpicking the five string banjo (instead of fingerpicking) is to remind all guitar players that “you too can play the banjo”!
